Dr. Singh previous detected XMRV in prostate cancer tissue. I think it is important that she run these new tests of hers on the blood of those same prostate cancer patients. What would she conclude if they were also negative? She should have done this before attempting this study, as she could have validated her own assay against her own positives. To my knowledge she did not do this nor did she replicate WPI’s methodology. Therefore we have learned nothing from this study other than how not to detect human gammaretrovirus.
