WORKING WITH BRAINFOG AND ME

First look at the stunning picture before you read on.

What many people don’t realise, is that not everybody with ME is bedbound like ME, or is after benefits, as the CBT BLOKEYS SAY.

In one of the rapid responses in the BMJ in 2003, an accountant mentioned that falling ill with ME, had cost him more than one and a half million pounds.

So I totally agree with you CBT BLOKEYS, NICE SECONDAIRY GAINS if you would compare that to Incapacity Benefits of eighty pounds a week.

But there are people who are not so severely affected who still manage to go to work somehow.

However, many have problems, and had to develop tricks to be able to function. Sometimes they have help from colleagues; interestingly enough people who get the least help are those who work in the HEALTH INDUSTRY, like hospitals and so, according to one report.

One guy reported that he uses all his breaks to give his mind a rest, how does he do it?? He goes to the toilet where he has peace and quietness. So when he has a lunch break of an hour, he sits on the toilet for an hour.

Other people though use other tricks.

If you look at this BMW X6, you see that the designer has got ME. What has he done to stay at work??? He used the first half of the X5, and used a tiny bit of makeup to change the indicator lights. And then he couldn’t do anymore. Luckily for him, his ten year old son is quite a computer freak, and he used his skills to turn the second half of the car into a SKATEBOARD RAMP.

Everybody is happy and thinks the designer has done a hell of a job creating an Urban tractor for two, even though it has the same dimensions as a proper tractor. There is space in the back, it even has four doors, but you only fit in, if you are shorter than Randy Newman when he was eight. If you do manage to get in, they play RN’s song about short people.

But seriously, look at this car; I love cars in general and beautiful cars in particular. But wasn’t there anybody at BMW, that had a look and thought, hum, this looks odd???? Our customers need a lot of money to buy our cars, so why on earth are we making skateboard ramps on wheels???

On the other hand, I must say, I think it is really great that a car manufacturer the size of BMW, doesn’t kick people with ME out of the door when they fall ill. Because that seems to be the idea of the CBT BLOKEYS, and their insurance companies.

So my next car might well be a BMW. That is, if I ever get well enough to drive again.

Oh, and then there is one other tiny problem. My secondary gains are so enormous, that my bank account will look like one of those craters you see after a bomb has gone off.

And somehow, I don’t think that Mr BMW will accept that as a down payment.
