Dr. Enlander: What does psychiatry have to do with this disease? "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!"

Yesterday's Mt. Sinai conference introducing Enlander's new research group (thanks to the benevolence of a researcher who wanted to remain low key) was nothing short of brilliant (tho we were all sad about Judy).

He has put together one heck of a team. Illa Singh to do virology, a brilliant young woman named Miriam Mead from Cornell to do immunology; at the conference, Rich Von Kronenberg spoke about the Methylation cycle, Kenny de Meirleir on GcMAF, Dr. Strayer on Ampligen, and Dr. Enlander on all sorts of other treatments -

my favorite line was when Enlander asked rhetorically, "What does psychiatry have to do with this disease?". Then answered: "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!"

But the scientific rock star was a math Ph.D. named Eric Schadt who specializes in a complex systems approach - VERY complex.
