After 17 gruelling years of watching daughter Lynn suffer and deteriorate because of ME, Kay Gilderdale eventually helped her to end her life.
After her daughter's death, Kay was arrested, accused of attempted murder and put on trial. She was subsequently acquitted but pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting suicide, and given a conditional discharge.
Kay joins us today to talk about the heart-breaking book she has written to raise awareness of ME, and to encourage people to discuss the taboo subject of assisted suicide.
