Americans fault mental health system in rampage

In the aftermath of the Tucson shooting that killed six people and wounded 13 others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, a majority of Americans said in a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll that they place a "great deal" of the blame on a failure of the mental health system to identify people who are a danger to the community.
When asked where they placed blame for the Tucson shooting, 55% of respondents said they placed a "great deal" of blame on mental health system failures; 43% said they placed a "great deal" of blame on easy access to guns. Read more>>
