Wanted: serious input from people with ME in consultation over DLA reform

The Forward ME group of charities has received a request from Dr James Bolton, deputy chief medical adviser at the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), to find 65 people with ME/CFS who are currently claiming Disability Living Allowance, and who would be willing to take part in a consultation assessing the likely impact of the change from DLA to Personal Independence Payments.

A copy of the (edited) letter from Dr Bolton to the Countess of Mar (chair of Forward ME Group) is set out below along with the relevant information about how the consultation will be conducted.
