CDC will now look for XMRV and MLV in their own lab workers !

by Wildaisy Fl on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 5:24pm, PLEASE RE-POST:

William M. Switzer of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced yesterday that all lab techs are going to be tested for XMRV.

"Leading" retrovirologists seem convinced that XMRV entered the human population via the use of various mouse and prostate cell lines.

These viruses cause cancer and neurodegenerative diseases in other animals and there is no reason to think that they will not do so in humans.

The employees of the CDC and other institutions where cell lines are handled are at a disadvantage however because Mr switzer and his collaborators have yet to develop a method that can detect XMRV in the blood of infected people.

Such methods available and any concerned person would do well to seek them out.
